Our secluded river campsites are dotted along more than 3km of Darling River frontage while the Billabong campsites sit either side of the large, horseshoe shaped billabong, a haven for birdlife and calm waters.
Each of our campsites feature a campfire pit with wood to get you started (then you gather more in from around camp as required), rubbish and recycle bins (we recycle for the Royal Flying Dr Service) and a long drop loo nearby.
LOW SEASON – BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL FROM NOVEMBER THROUGH UNTIL THE END OF MARCH, as we take this time to enjoy a bit of a break ourselves and catch up on our ‘To Do’ list. As such we are not always open during this time, so please contact us before driving out.
Bathroom facilities (hot showers, toilets and washing machines- $1 coins for washing ) and our renovated Camp Kitchen are a short drive away.
Following flooding earlier in the year our Billabong, around 7km in circumference, is full. With the sun rising and setting over the water, these 9 sites are magical. The Pelora billabong campsite, complete with its own ensuite Loo With A View and rustic table/benches, is almost one kilometre from the nearest campsite and our most remote and secluded, being about 3km from the homestead, office and amenities.
Our campsites are pet friendly – but we do request, as a working station with our livestock plus kangaroos, goats, emus and the odd pig cohabitating with campers, that your pet remains on a leash at all times.
You will never be asked to share your campsite with others, it’s one booking only per campsite. If you are travelling as a group we have large campsites suitable for your group too.
- $25 couple per night, $30 per family/night. The tariff also includes use of our canoes, yabby nets, swimming pool and the self-drive Mud Map Tours.
