Once home for the station’s Jackaroos and Jillaroos, this cottage has been transformed from its once humble beginnings to very comfortable self- contained guest accommodation.
There are two bedrooms – a queen and a twin room, small casual dining /kitchenette, gas BBQ, TV and a private bathroom… which is a few steps outside your door (there’s a very good reason for this – ask Liz when you arrive!) A shady verandah overlooking the swimming pool fronts the building, the ideal spot for that pre-dinner drink or to laze with a good book. The cottage is air-conditioned and heated and is a stone’s throw from the homestead.
- From $170/ double per night – self-catering. Kitchenette with stove, microwave, small fridge, kettle, toaster etc, Weber BBQ.
- Accommodation, country style home cooked dinner including a cheese/nibbles platter, dessert, homemade chocolates and cooked breakfast – $400 per couple, $85 per child (6 – 12 years). Meals are delivered to your accommodation and drinks with dinner are BYO, though we do have a small selection of medium priced wines for sale if required. Dinner only – $75pp. Please ask us for our child rates on meals. Meals are to be booked at the time of making your reservation to ensure Liz can include you in her schedule for catering. She has limited numbers each day.
- A group of 4 adults will be more comfortable in the roomier Overseer’s Cottage.
- Not pet friendly, sorry.
