Trilby Station offers roomy gravel powered sites with a paved campfire area, camp kitchen, gas BBQ, gazebo and bathroom facilities.
Our four powered sites are adjacent to the Shearer’s Bunkhouse and about two hundred metres from the riverbank on the Darling River. They offer a sheltered gazebo, paved campfire pit, camp kitchen with comfy seating, slow combustion wood heater and a TV, Gas BBQ and bathroom/laundry facilities.
Our ‘Off-Season ‘is over summer…. and it’s usually VERY hot! We use this time to catch up on other jobs, schedule medical appointments etc. As a ‘one-man band’ this means we aren’t always open, so bookings are absolutely essential.
We welcome your pet to our powered site area, though request that he/she remains on a leash at all times as we share the house paddock with not only our precious livestock, but also kangaroos, goats, emus and the odd pig!
- $45 per couple per night, $55 per family per night.
- Summer Rates ( October 1st – April 14th) $50 per couple and $60 per family per night.
- Bookings essential over summer, we do have days away from the station during low season when we’ll be closed. And yes, I realise our rates for power are high (so you may prefer a beaut river campsite instead), however our last quarterly power bill ( for just inside the levee bank here) was over $7,500!!
The tariff also includes use of our yabby nets, swimming pool and the self-drive Mud Map tours.
